Neon pastels

Neon pastels

I've always had problems with neon colours. I've always found them way too bright and "showish", that way I've never had any "neon". I slowly accepted the fact that all of my favourite shops will be floaded by neon clothes, and all of my favourite bloggers will post neon coloured outfits but me, myself just simply avoided the fact that neon colours existed. Till now...

How I became a neon-pastel lover?

I've always liked pastels colours - what else a romantic girl could do ?! - so when I saw the upcoming neon-pastel trend, I thought it's time for me to dare! It was a longer process that started last summer when I was wearing neon-pastel colours (like mint and lilac) on my nails for the first time :) (What a scandal! :)). And it ended up last week when I bought my first neon-mint cardigan ever.

What is the point of this story?

Nothing but the fact that everyone should dare to wear colours :) This trend which is on since last year, but which has its booming now, can be a good start for every "shy girl". It's not that bright, it's not that showy, but it still adds enough to your outfit :)

What else?

I really don't want to add explanations for each outfit that I created. :) I am sure all of you saw neon-pastel outfits before. In my opinion if you want to "learn", the only thing you have to do is just keep your eyes peeled. You can easily get inspired by bloggers/outfit of the days or magazines.

After all, here is my "rules" or ways to wear it:
  • You can always keep it casual with a pair of jeans and flat shoes
  • You can always tone it down with basic colours such as white and black
  • You can always add a bit more with accesories
That's it, because in the end you'll be the one who'll decide how to wear it :)

And where to find neon-pastel clothes?

Literally everywhere, but here are my favourites from H&M

And what's yours?

Yves Rocher Comfort Cream Foundation review

It is really hard to find foundation if your skin is as pale as the wall.but somehow I managed it.

Comfort Cream Foundation

Here is my story:

Since I heard so much about the high-end foundations I thought it's time to try out one. After some searching and saving I ended up buying a not high-end but yet not cheap or "drugstore" foundation the Yves Rocher Comfort Cream one.

I was really contented with other Yves Rocher products in the past and it's always feel better to use more natural products, so I hoped it will work. And I wasn't wrong!

Shade: Rosé 100 Very light

As it is a cream foundation it's not as light as a liquid foundation would be, but it gives you lot more coverage. It smells amazing - absolutely not irritating - the amount of compliments that I got can prove it! :)

I was really surprised when after a few days of using my skin got better. The dry parts of my face started to get softer and my blemishes started to disappear. I can't say it solved all of my issues, but it obviously made my feel more confident about my skin :)

From different angles, in different lights
As you can see, at first it can come out cakey but as you slowly work into your skin it almost "absorbs".
This foundation stays almost all day long on your skin, and if you're using well you do not even need to use concealer.

I got it on a discounted price for ~ 3000 Ft (10 Euros/ 13 Dollars) and there is no doubt it worth the money to spend on.

I hope I helped with this short review,
I think this price and foundation is perfect if you're on a "budget" but you're still cares about your skin.

Have a lovely day,

My week in photos

Lately I became more obsessed with Iphone than I've ever been. Unfortunately, I still don't have one, but the urge to take photos throughout the week is stronger than the fact that my recent phone is too lame for this.

So, let's pretend the quality is much better and these are Instagram effects :)

As you can tell, I have a sweet tooth and this week I didn't count calories.

And how was your week?

Coachella

Have you ever dreamed about going to Coachella? I dreamed a lot.

If I could have a chance to go, I wore that outfit below. I saw so many lookbooks about bohemian Coachella outfits and I slowly got into this style. (However I have never thought I will be one of the bohemian lovers :)

So here we are - I am in Budapest, far far away from California....
Coachella built up some kind of an atmosphere that I have never seen anywhereelse even though we have several festivals in Hungary too.

What do you think about this outfit? What would you wear if you could go there? Or what did you wear? :)

bisous,
